Not since Rabbi Jacob Danglow (1880-1962) has there been an Orthodox Jewish Chaplain in the Scout Association. There has only been one other Jewish scouting chaplain, Rabbi Seth Phillips of the Leo beck centre who was a scouting chaplain for a short time in the mid 1980's. Rabbi Moore will be the chaplain for the Glen Eira Stonnington district which encompasses the area from Albert Park to Chadstone which includes Melbourne's three remaining Jewish Scout Groups (3rd St Kilda, 10th Caulfield and 15th Brighton).
